Pictured is me with all the socks I knit in 2021
I LOVE knitting socks, If you've been following me for a while on either my Instagram or designs on Ravelry you'll have noticed I'm a bit obssesed. Socks are an amazing way to being able to express yourself in your knitting. The first project I ever knit was socks and I was addicted ever since.
Now I did not get the socks right on the first try, actually far from it! The first pair of "socks" I made was for my husband.. and let's just say they were more VERY loose slippers for maybe a Bigfoot! But it taught me how to knit, purl, turn a heel and work on double pointed needles.

Alright enough about me, let's get your started on your sock knitting journey. First up let's go over what you'll be needing for this pair of socks.
If this is your first pair of socks I would recommend going with a thicker weight of yarn from a DK weight to Worsted weight. I have some paid for patterns you can purchase with all the details you'll need to create your perfect fitting pair of socks.
If you're looking to venture into the fingering weight pairs of socks I have both a Top down and a Toe up Pattern on Ravelry.
